TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is broad.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That would be a good addition once it is live.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The speed is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
